Suffering from snoring or sleep apnea? Looking for a sleep doctor? Welcome to Snore MD—a professional sleep apnea clinic that can assist you with your sleep issues. Located in Langley’s Murrayville Shopping Centre opposite IGA, you can visit us six days a week.
Our team of sleep professionals consists of Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses who are trained to identify and solve sleep apnea and snoring issues. You’ll be cared for by our clinical coordinator who will walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have. We understand how important a good night’s sleep is and we are dedicated to helping our community.
It’s amazing how something as simple as a good night’s sleep can save us from such a range of major illnesses. We as a society spend a substantial amount on those ailments after they manifest, while taking sleep for granted. But the truth is sleep is one of the most important things in terms of preventative care; and that is why I pursued a career in sleep therapy.
When working with a patient, I love taking the journey with them. In the beginning we educate, discuss their concerns, and truly make them involved in all aspects of their treatment. Then day by day, week by week, they see the health benefits, not just statistically but mentally and physically. The excitement of our patients from then on is contagious because the truth is effective medicine must be a collaborative effort.
I received my Medical Doctorate abroad and it was one of the most challenging and fulfilling things I have ever done. But my biggest accomplishment isn’t the degree hanging on the wall, but the family picture next to it of my beautiful wife and newborn son. Each day I strive to make them proud.
So if you or someone you know, may have sleep issues, please come by and let’s have a real conversation.
I choose a career in sleep because it impacts not only our physical health, but also mental health and well being. Over the past 8 years, I have enjoyed learning more about sleep apnea and how to improve patient treatment outcomes.
So far, my greatest accomplishment is becoming a Registered Respiratory Therapist. From a young age, my grandfather had emphasized the importance of pursuing higher education as it would help me build my life. I’m grateful for all of the great life lessons he imparted. I hope to continue to learn and grow as a person.
When patients come into our clinic, they are usually apprehensive about sleep apnea testing and treatment. I love being about to make them feel comfortable and listening to their concerns. Connecting with my patients allows me to earn their trust and help them improve their sleep.
The reason I chose a career in sleep is that I am a very social and people person and sleep is something that I find myself to be very relatable. I have close family members who have better sleep and lifestyle because they chose to get tested and use CPAP. Looking at them happy made me wanna share more and become part of who I am now.
The biggest accomplishment in my life so far I would say is living in a foreign country with my daughter and doing it all alone and not being a burden to my parents. And having a job where I look forward to going to work daily plays a major role so I can continue to be a blessing to my daughter and my family.
The best thing for me about working with patients is when I see them finding out what’s happening to their body and for them to finally get the answers to why they may not be having good quality sleep. I have always shared my sleep experience that the one thing I do for myself is to have a good sleep and if I don’t have a good sleep then how can I be helpful to others!
Your health, which includes your sleep habits, is essential to being able to function each and every day. When sleep issues arise, it is important not to wait to seek treatment.
Our team is eager to help you with your sleep issues. We are well-connected to the medical community, working with family doctors and hospitals. We will not put you on a waiting list, which means that patients can contact our Langley sleep clinic to book same-day appointments. We are even able to accommodate after-hour appointments (evening appointments).
From first-contact with the Langley Sleep Apnea Clinic, you’ll be guided through our method for a better night’s sleep. After filling out a simple information form, we’ll set you up with an at-home sleep test for two nights. This test will provide valuable information to our clinicians on your sleep habits and breathing issues which will help them determine the best solution for you and whether you would benefit from CPAP Therapy (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure). As a Snore MD patient, you will receive continuous care for your sleep issues and can purchase any needed equipment from our Langley sleep clinic.
